If someone told me that one day I would be the pastor of a church, I would have laughed at them. In fact, that is exactly what happened to some people who asked if I would follow in my dad’s footprints and become a minister. That simply did not fit the mold of the life plan that I had designed for myself. In my mind, I thought I knew exactly what I wanted to do, and I knew exactly how to get there. However, all the while, God was shaping, forming, and directing my life in such a way that led straight to this church.
Since God turned my life upside-down, I was able to marry my best friend (Stephanie), we have been given two beautiful daughters, I was blessed with the opportunity to serve the great people of the Lake Worth Baptist Church for over nine years, and then called to the high privilege of being the Lead Pastor here since July of 2016. Wow!
God has given my family and I quite a journey, but I would not trade it for anything. God has been so good to us and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for His church!
